Ben Kanoski joined Wetherington Hamilton, P.A., as an associate attorney in 2024. His practice areas include Commercial Litigation, Judgment Execution and Debt Collection. Mr. Kanoski represents the interests of business and individuals as creditors in state courts to obtain judgments and recover assets.
Prior to joining Wetherington Hamilton, P.A., Mr. Kanoski served as an Assistant State Attorney for over fourteen years with the Sixth Circuit State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Kanoski prosecuted thousands of cases, ranging in severity from misdemeanor trespass up to First Degree Murder, and brought approximately 70 cases to trial. During that time, he was assigned to the DUI Manslaughter squad, a specialized group of attorneys responsible for investigating and prosecuting traffic homicide offenses. Mr. Kanoski was also assigned as an Assistant County Division Director, a position that required training and supervising between 15 and 30 of the newest attorneys in the office.
Mr. Kanoski was born and raised in Pinellas County and is a lifelong resident of the State of Florida. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and children, distance running and weightlifting.
